The President of the National Assembly, Adão Correia de Almeida, received the President of the Federal Supreme Court of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Justice Luiz Edson Fachin, on Tuesday, 21 July 2026, on a courtesy visit to the Angolan Parliament.
The President of the Constitutional Court, Justice Laurinda Jacinto Prazeres, and the Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil accredited to Angola, Eugênia Barthelmess, also took part in the meeting.
During the audience, the officials discussed matters of common interest, notably the strengthening of institutional relations and cooperation between the organs of sovereignty of Angola and Brazil.
At the end of the meeting, Adão Correia de Almeida took the Brazilian delegation on a guided tour of various areas of the National Assembly building, giving the visitors closer contact with the organisation, functioning and history of the Angolan Parliament.
