The National Front for the Liberation of Angola (FNLA) submitted its candidacy for the legislative elections of 5 September 2008. Notified to remedy deficiencies concerning candidates' documents and the minimum number of supporting voters, the FNLA did so within the time limit. The Court admitted the candidacy and the lists, excluding 197 of the 329 proposed candidates for lack of a voter card, identity card, criminal record certificate or declaration of candidacy.
