The Attorney General applied for the dissolution of the Partido de Convergência Nacional (PCN), which had obtained 0.11% of the valid votes in the 2012 general elections as part of the coalition Conselho Político da Oposição (CPO). The party filed no defence. The Court declared the party dissolved and ordered the cancellation of its registration and its winding-up, since it had not reached the 0.5% minimum required by the Political Parties Law.
