Six members of the FNLA Central Committee and Political Bureau challenged the Central Committee's final communiqué and an order by the party President, both of 24 June 2014, which filled Central Committee vacancies, appointed a new Secretary-General and imposed sanctions. The Court found that the proceedings had become moot, since the FNLA's 4th Congress in February 2015, which elected new bodies, had rendered the claims devoid of purpose.
