A member of the Partido de Renovação Social (PRS) asked the Court to declare the party's Fourth Congress null and void, alleging irregularities in the selection of delegates in several provinces and missing signatures on the minutes. The Court dismissed the application: the minutes were validly signed and the Congress was attended by 653 of the 701 elected delegates, above the statutory two-thirds quorum, and the applicant had not proved the alleged irregularities.
