Five parties belonging to the CASA-CE coalition (PADDA-AP, PALMA, PPA, PNSA and PDP-ANA) brought proceedings against the coalition, challenging the presence of independents on its Presidential Council and the management of its funds. The Court partly upheld the application: the founding agreement prevails, the six parties are the only members, decisions rest on their will and the Council must consist of party members. It refused to designate the body managing funds or order state funding paid directly to the parties.
