Members of the Frente Nacional de Libertação de Angola (FNLA) challenged the meetings of the Political Bureau on 9 February 2018 and of the Central Committee on 10–11 February 2018, convened by the party President, alleging breaches of the party statutes. The Court partly upheld the application: it declared the extraordinary Political Bureau meeting valid and the Central Committee meeting, with all its acts and resolutions, invalid for lack of the statutory quorum, in breach of internal party democracy.
