Members of the FNLA Central Committee challenged disciplinary measures imposed by the party President, on the Secretary-General's proposal, on members of the Political Bureau, alleging breach of the party statutes on the bodies competent in disciplinary matters. The Court rejected the application for lack of standing, since none of the applicants had been subject to the measures, and stressed that representation by a lawyer is required in proceedings concerning political parties.
