A member of the FNLA asked the Constitutional Court to remove the party's President and to set up a management committee, alleging repeated breaches of the party's statutes and a refusal to reunify the party. The Court did not grant the application, finding no constitutional, legal or statutory violations justifying removal, and holding that the party elders and the applicant had no statutory power to remove the President or to create a management committee.
