The President of the Republic requested prior review of the Constitutional Revision Law approved by the National Assembly in June 2021. The Court found that the formal and circumstantial limits on revision had been respected, but that the provisions requiring the courts to send reports to other organs of sovereignty breached the substantive limits of judicial independence and of the separation and interdependence of powers, while the remaining provisions respected the substantive limits.
