The President of the National Assembly, with a request signed by 52 members, submitted the Constitution of the Republic of Angola, approved on 21 January 2010, for prior review against the limits of the Constitutional Law. The Court found it compliant with those limits, except Article 132(1) and (4), allowing the Vice-President to assume the Presidency without election, and the omission in Article 109 of the presidential candidate on the ballot paper, and returned the text to the National Assembly.
