UNITA requested clarification of Judgment No. 700/2021, which had declared its 13th Ordinary Congress of 2019 null and void and ordered that the leadership elected in 2015 remain in place. The Court clarified that the nullity affects the officers elected or appointed following that Congress, leaving the current leadership to decide on contracts and management acts, and that this leadership holds full powers until a new leadership is elected, subject to the seven-year legal limit.
