The coalition CASA-CE filed an electoral appeal against the national results of the general elections of 24 August 2022, claiming uncounted votes that would give it a seat and arguing that the requirement of a prior complaint to the National Electoral Commission (CNE) restricted access to the courts. The Court dismissed the appeal, holding that this requirement did not breach access to justice and that, even with the claimed votes, the coalition would not win a seat.
