The political party UNITA, together with Bloco Democrático, lodged an electoral appeal against the national tabulation of the results of the General Elections of 24 August 2022 and the decision of the National Electoral Commission (CNE) rejecting its complaint as out of time. The Court held that Bloco Democrático lacked standing and dismissed the appeal, because the copies of polling records submitted and found compliant did not call into question the overall results tabulated by the CNE.
