Several members of the Partido de Renovação Social (PRS) asked the Court to order meetings of the National Committee and Political Council and to annul the six-year term of the party's leadership bodies, claiming that the Fourth Congress had set four years. The Court declared the proceedings closed and found for the party, upholding the plea of res judicata, since the same applicants had made an identical claim in earlier actions.
