The Organising Committee of the proposed political party NOVO appealed to the Plenary against the order of the President of the Constitutional Court rejecting its registration and cancelling its accreditation for failing to gather 7,500 signatures, with 150 valid ones per province. The Court dismissed the appeal, as the appellant had not met the minimum representation and national scope requirements, and held that it lacked jurisdiction over alleged failings of local government bodies.
