Founding members of the Angolan Humanist Party challenged acts of the party's President: organisational restructuring, appointment and dismissal of provincial presidents and the general coordinator, their own expulsion, mandatory monthly dues and a ban on interviews. The Court upheld the action and declared those acts null for usurping the powers of the National Political Committee, breaching internal democracy and expelling members without disciplinary proceedings, but found that the applicants lacked standing regarding the interview ban, which affected only third parties.
