Founding members of the Partido Humanista Angolano who sat on its National Political Committee sought interim measures suspending acts and restraining the party, alleging that its President had unilaterally adopted resolutions removing them from that body, in breach of the party's statutes. The Court rejected the interim measures, as no serious and irreparable harm or instrumental character had been shown, and dismissed the party's request to sanction the applicants for bad-faith litigation.
