The company Fazenda Mangais, S.A. and a citizen appealed to the Plenary for harmonisation of case law, alleging a conflict between Second Chamber Judgment No. 902/2024, on a security deposit as a condition for the suspensive effect of an appeal, and Plenary Judgment No. 626/2020, on abandonment for failure to file submissions, both concerning the right of appeal. The Court dismissed the appeal, finding no conflicting decisions and no identical fundamental question of law.
