The Partido Humanista de Angola (PHA), represented by its President, brought an action to annul a resolution suspending the party's President against several members presenting themselves as members of the National Political Committee, alleging lack of statutory convening, quorum and competence. The Court discharged the respondents from the proceedings without ruling on the merits, finding lis pendens with another case between the same parties, with the same claim and cause of action, in which the respondents had been served first.
