The event was the 9th Congress of the Association of Francophone Constitutional Courts (ACCF), held in the Republic of Senegal from 31 May to 2 June under the theme “The Constitutional Judge and Human Rights”, and attended by the Vice-President, Justice Guilhermina Prata, representing the Constitutional Court of Angola.

The promotion and deepening of relations between the institutions whose powers include the final resolution of constitutional disputes in their respective countries were the topics addressed at the congress, which was also attended, on Angola's behalf, by Justice Maria de Fátima Silva, as well as by senior officials of the Constitutional Court.

In March 2021, the ACCF concluded a cooperation agreement with the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of Africa, currently chaired by Angola, aimed at the exchange of experience and information on constitutional matters.
