On the day dedicated to women, the President of the Constitutional Court travelled to the Municipality of Cazenga to spend time with the basketball players of Escola Formiguinhas.
Laurinda Cardoso, who was accompanied by Justice Carlos Teixeira, toured the various facilities of the sports association and also took the opportunity to hold an informal conversation with the young players, in which she spoke about her academic and professional path, encouraging them never to give up on their studies and always to pursue their dreams.
The occasion also served for the President of the Constitutional Court to present copies of the Constitution of the Republic.
Escola Formiguinhas do Cazenga is a non-profit Social Solidarity Sports Association whose objective is to promote sport within the community, thereby supporting hundreds of children and young people who find in basketball a means of having fun, acquiring values and integrating into society.
