Two lists of candidates for the legislative elections of 5 September 2008 were submitted on behalf of PADEPA by two citizens, each claiming to be the party's President. The Court had to decide which list was legitimate. It received the list signed by the leadership elected at the extraordinary congress of November 2007, as that was the registered leadership and had not been challenged in court, and did not receive the other list.
