The UTPA coalition (União da Tendência Presidencial de Angola) submitted its list of candidates for the legislative elections of 5 September 2008. The Court rejected the candidacy as it did not meet the legal admissibility requirements: the list of supporting registered voters was missing, no candidates were put forward in four provincial constituencies, and forged criminal records and a forged identity card were found, among other irregularities.
