The coalition Frente Patriótica (FP), formed by the Partido Liberal Angolano and the Partido Social Democrático Angolano, submitted its candidacy for the legislative elections of 5 September 2008. The Court rejected the candidacy because no lists of candidates had been submitted for any constituency and the lists of supporters, submitted for only four constituencies, did not meet the admissibility requirements of Article 62 of the Electoral Law.
