A citizen, acting as signatory for the coalition Aliança Democrática de Angola (ADA), formed by the PRS and the PDPS, lodged a complaint against Judgment No. 6/2008, which had barred the coalition from the 2008 legislative elections, claiming that he, rather than the recognised leader, was the lawful President of the PRS. The Court dismissed the complaint because the existing registrations recognised another leadership and the Unification Conference was not a statutory body of the party.
