The MPLA submitted its candidacy and list of candidates for the legislative elections of 5 September 2008. The Court checked the appointment of an agent, the candidates' eligibility to stand, participation in all constituencies and the minimum number of supporting voters. Having found deficiencies in documents and supporters, it ordered them to be corrected; once this was done within the deadline, the Court admitted the candidacy because all legal requirements were met.
