The Partido de Renovação Social (PRS) submitted its candidacy for the legislative elections of 5 September 2008. Having found deficiencies in the candidates' documents and in the number of supporters, the Court ordered them to be remedied, which the party did within the time limit. The Court admitted the candidacy and the lists, as the legal requirements were met, but excluded 62 of the 314 proposed candidates whose situation remained irregular.
