The Partido Nacional Democrático de Angola (PNDA) submitted its list of candidates for the legislative elections of 5 September 2008. Having been notified to remedy deficiencies concerning candidates, documents and supporting voters, the party failed to correct the main ones. The Court rejected the candidacy because only 2,050 supporters and seven of the 142 candidates were compliant, so the legal minimum of supporters was not reached in any constituency.
