The party União Democrática Nacional de Angola (UDNA) submitted its candidacy for the legislative elections of 5 September 2008. The Court had to verify the regularity of the application, the eligibility of the candidates and the minimum number of supporting voters. The Court rejected the candidacy because candidates were missing for several provincial constituencies, the required documents were lacking for almost all candidates and there were no valid supporters in the provincial constituencies, in breach of the Electoral Law.
