The Partido Democrático Pacífico de Angola (PDPA – NTO BAKO) submitted its candidacy for the legislative elections of 5 September 2008. On reviewing the file, the Court found serious deficiencies: only 4,086 valid supporters against the 14,000 required by law, no supporters in the provincial constituencies, and 232 of 234 candidates with missing or irregular documents. It rejected the candidacy for failure to meet essential legal requirements.
