The Angolan Socialist Party (PSA) submitted its candidacy for the legislative elections of 5 September 2008. After being notified to remedy irregularities, the party failed to correct most of them. The Court rejected the candidacy because the PSA had not reached the statutory minimum number of supporting voters in any constituency and many candidates had not submitted a voter card, criminal record certificate or declaration of acceptance.
