PACIA (Angolan Conservative Party of African Identity) submitted a candidacy for the legislative elections of 5 September 2008. The Court found that most candidates in the national constituency lacked compliant documents, that no candidates were put forward for the provincial constituencies and that the party had not gathered the minimum number of supporting voters required by the Electoral Law. As the legal requirements were not met, the candidacy was rejected.
