The Liberal Democratic Party (PLD) submitted its candidacy for the legislative elections of 5 September 2008. Having been notified to remedy deficiencies concerning missing candidates in several provincial constituencies and the number of supporting voters, the party corrected them within the time limit. The Court admitted the candidacy and the lists, excluding eleven candidates who had not submitted a valid voter card or a declaration of candidacy.
