The Democratic Party for the Progress of National Alliance (PDP-ANA) submitted its candidacy for the legislative elections of 5 September 2008. Having been notified to remedy deficiencies concerning candidates' documents, provincial constituencies without lists and supporting voters, the party remedied most of them within the time limit. The Court admitted the candidacy and the lists, excluding 121 candidates, mainly for failure to submit an identity card and a declaration of acceptance of candidacy.
