The coalition AD – Angola Democrática submitted its candidacy for the legislative elections of 5 September 2008. After ordering the correction of deficiencies in documents and supporting voters, the Court found that 134 of the 203 proposed candidates did not meet the legal requirements and excluded them from the list. The Court admitted the candidacy and the remaining lists, because the minimum number of candidates per constituency and the required number of supporters had been met.
