The Attorney General applied for a declaration dissolving the party Movimento de Defesa dos Interesses de Angola – Partido de Consciência Nacional (MDIA-PCN) for failing to take part in two consecutive elections. The Court dismissed the application because it was proven that the party had taken part in the 2008 elections through the AD-Coligação coalition, without prejudice to a new application on other grounds, such as failure to obtain 0.5% of the votes.
