The Attorney General applied for a judicial declaration dissolving the Angolan Social Development Party (PADS), arguing that, in the 2012 general elections, as part of the Opposition Political Council (CPO) coalition, it had obtained only 0.11% of the valid votes. The party did not contest the application. The Court declared the PADS dissolved and ordered the cancellation of its registration and its winding-up within 90 days, as it had not reached the legal minimum of 0.5% of the votes.
