The Attorney General applied for a judicial declaration dissolving the Partido Popular para o Desenvolvimento (PAPOD), which had obtained 0.15% of the valid votes in the general elections of 31 August 2012. The Court granted the application and declared the party dissolved, ordering the cancellation of its registration and its winding-up within 90 days, because it had not reached the 0.5% minimum required by the Political Parties Law.
