The Attorney General applied for the dissolution of the party Aliança para a Democracia dos Povos de Angola (ADPA), which ran in the 2012 general elections within the coalition Conselho Político da Oposição, obtaining 0.11% of the valid votes. The party did not contest the application. The Court declared the party dissolved because it had not reached 0.5% of the votes cast, a ground for dissolution under Article 33(4)(i) of the Political Parties Law.
