The Attorney General applied for the dissolution of the União Nacional para a Democracia (UND), which had contested the 2012 general elections within the Nova Democracia União Eleitoral coalition and obtained 0.23% of the valid votes. Once served, the party filed no defence. The Court declared the party dissolved because it had not reached the minimum of 0.5% of the votes required by Article 33(4)(i) of the Political Parties Law.
