The Attorney General applied for the dissolution of the Partido Restaurador da Esperança (PRE – Partido Verde), which had contested the 2012 general elections as part of the Frente Unida para a Mudança de Angola (FUMA) coalition and obtained 0.14% of the valid votes. The Court declared the party dissolved because it had not reached, alone or in coalition, the minimum of 0.5% of the votes required by the Political Parties Law, and ordered its registration cancelled and its winding-up.
