The Attorney General applied for the dissolution of the Partido Democrático para o Progresso Social (PDPS), which had stood in the 2012 general elections within the Conselho Político da Oposição (CPO) coalition and obtained only 0.11% of the valid votes. The party did not file a defence. The Court declared the party dissolved and ordered its registration cancelled because it had not reached the statutory minimum of 0.5% of votes cast nationally.
