The Attorney General applied for a declaration dissolving the Partido Congressista Angolano (PCA) for not taking part, alone or in coalition, in the 2008 and 2012 elections. Served by public notice, the party did not respond. The Court declared the party dissolved and ordered the cancellation of its registration and its liquidation within 90 days, since non-participation in two consecutive elections was proven, an objective requirement that makes the reasons for the absence irrelevant.
