The political party MPLA submitted its candidacy for President of the Republic, Vice-President of the Republic and Members of the National Assembly in the 2022 General Elections. After irregularities were remedied, the Court had to verify the regularity of the application, the candidates' eligibility and the number of supporting signatories. The Court admitted the candidacy and its list because the constitutional and legal requirements were met, one parliamentary candidate having been removed following withdrawal and the list adjusted.
