The UNITA Parliamentary Group sought an unspecified interim measure to prevent the National Assembly from voting on the resolution designating by name the members of the National Electoral Commission (CNE) while its application for subsequent abstract review of the regulation on the competition for CNE President was pending. As the National Assembly stated that it would refrain from voting on the resolution until that application was decided, the Court closed the proceedings as moot.
