On the initiative of the Centre for Human Rights and Citizenship of the Catholic University of Angola (UCAN), a meeting entitled Dialogue on the Rights of the Child was held on the morning of Monday, 6 February 2023, as part of the celebrations of the 13th anniversary of the entry into force of the Constitution of the Republic of Angola, marked on Sunday, 5 February 2023.
At the meeting, graced by the presence of the President of the Constitutional Court, Dr Laurinda Cardoso, the participants, all of them students of the Instituto Politécnico Dom Damião Franklin, located in the Palanca Urban District, in the Municipality of Kilamba-Kiaxi, Province of Luanda, received explanations from the President of the Court on the various constitutional provisions relating to the fundamental rights of the child.
The Rector of UCAN, Maria de Assunção, and the Director of UCAN's Centre for Human Rights and Citizenship, Wilson Almeida Adão, also took part in the event.
