The President of the Constitutional Court, Justice Laurinda Monteiro Cardoso, is in the Federative Republic of Brazil, where she is taking part, on 15 and 16 May 2023, in the Intermediate Seminar of the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CJCPLP).
The aim of the Seminar is to analyse the Role of Constitutional Jurisdiction in Promoting and Guaranteeing Social and Economic Justice, as well as Hermeneutics and Constitutional Jurisdiction.
Chaired by the Constitutional Council of Mozambique, the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of Portuguese-Speaking Countries has within its scope of work judicial, jurisprudential and scientific cooperation among the Supreme Bodies with Constitutional Jurisdiction in the member countries of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP).
Justice Maria da Conceição de Almeida Sango and Justice Vitorino Domingos Hossi are also members of the delegation.
The event, which is taking place in the building of the Federal Supreme Court of Brazil, can be followed on Brazil's TV Justiça channel and on the digital platforms of that Brazilian superior court.
