At the invitation of the Human Rights Centre of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Angola (UCAN), the President of the Constitutional Court, Justice Laurinda Prazeres Monteiro Cardoso, took part on the afternoon of Friday, 4 August 2023, in the launch of the Projecto Apoio Legal às Comunidades 2023 (Legal Support to Communities Project 2023).

On the panel "Como Construir uma Carreira de Sucesso" (How to Build a Successful Career), the President of the Court, who shared the panel with the Minister of Social Action, Family and Promotion of Women, Paula Sacramento Neto, and with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of BPC, Cláudio Pinheiro, shared her experience and life path with the young university students present.

The Projecto Apoio Legal às Comunidades is an initiative of the Human Rights Centre of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Angola and UNDP, with the institutional support of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights and the Ministry of Social Action, Family and Promotion of Women, and aims to provide free legal support to the most disadvantaged communities, as well as to promote education in respect for human rights.
