Luanda, capital of the Republic of Angola, will host, next Monday, 16 June 2025, the Intermediate Seminar of the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CJCPLP).
The event will bring together the representatives of the constitutional jurisdictions of the member countries, who will debate various topics based on the "Values and Principles of National Independence, Democracy and the Rule of Law in the Constitutions of Portuguese-Speaking Countries”.
Made up of the Constitutional Courts and equivalent institutions of Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe and Timor-Leste, the CJCPLP's mission is to promote cooperation among the bodies of constitutional justice of the Portuguese-speaking countries, as well as to encourage the exchange of experience and good practice and to foster the harmonisation of legal understandings in the Lusophone world.
The Intermediate Seminar of the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of Portuguese-Speaking Countries will take place on 16 June 2025 (Monday) at 9.30 am in the Auditorium of the Attorney General's Office (PGR).
